Story Time on the Porch

Free, monthly story time at the museum. Bring a non-messy snack and join us on the porch for fun stories, poems and a mini-discussion. Books and topics are chosen with kids up to 5 years of age in mind but all ages are welcome. This month's books and poems will be gardening and spring themed.

Artifact Observations

No-cost learning hour for home school students ages 5-15yrs. Monthly sessions give students the opportunity to learn more about individual artifacts within the museum’s collection. In a small group setting students observe, discuss, draw, answer questions and discover how each artifact fits into Kodiak’s history. This Month we will sit in our new exhibit area and learn about the Erskine Book Plate. Then students will design their very own!
